Suitable for anyone who requires an 8hr one day First Aid qualification. This may be Outdoor Instructors whose qualifications only require the 8hr course (ie Level 1 Kayak/Canoe) or office or industrial employees who may require an Appointed Person First Aid Certificate.

Interactive hands on training is once again the hallmark of the course.

The course satisfies the first aid requirements of the Outdoor National Governing Bodies for some instructor awards (NGB`s). Please check with your awarding authority and is ideal for those who lead groups or instruct in rural areas.

Many other sectors of industry require an 8 hour qualification (Appointed person) and this course will suit that requirement.

a. The recognition & Monitoring of the signs of life - Vital Signs
b. A memorable and recallable systematic method of dealing with any incident.
c. Managing the unconscious casualty.
d. Treating external bleading.
e. The recognition & treatment of shock.
f. CPR and blocked airway resuscitation.
g. Discussion, Q&A session on:- Head Injuries, Common Medical emergencies, Anaphylactic Shock.
